Charity

Notes in Spanish has a policy of giving a percentage of all the income we receive (from listener purchases and donations) to charities each year. We are very grateful to those of you that support us for allowing us to be able to do this. We’re also really happy and inspired to see other online businesses doing the same, such as 8notes.com

Some of our recent charitable campaigns

2018

November 2018 – We have donated 2,000 euros to Aldeas Infantiles SOS – this international charity’s mission is to protect vulnerable children. We have donated to their Madrid centre, which includes a large short- and long-term fostering centre in El Escorial (see their video 1, 2, 3… Casa to really understand what they do). The Madrid centre also provides vital emergency support throughout the Madrid region for families in grave risk of breaking apart.

We have also donated 2,000 euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency. We have donated to their Christmas Campaign to help women and children displaced by, and in danger from, the Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria.
