Notes in Spanish has a policy of giving a percentage of all the income we receive (from listener purchases and donations) to charities each year. We are very grateful to our listeners for allowing us to be able to do this.

Some of our recent charitable campaigns

2020

November 2020 – We have maintained our support for Aldeas Infantiles SOS the international charity whose mission is to protect vulnerable children. This year we have again been able to send them 6,500 Euros.

November 2020 – 1000 euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency.

2019

November 2019 – Once again we have decided to support Aldeas Infantiles SOS the international charity whose mission is to protect vulnerable children. This year we have been able to send them 6,500 Euros.

December 2019 – 500 euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency.

2018

November 2018 – We have donated 2,000 euros to Aldeas Infantiles SOS – this international charity’s mission is to protect vulnerable children. We have donated to their Madrid centre, which includes a large short- and long-term fostering centre in El Escorial (see their video 1, 2, 3… Casa to really understand what they do). The Madrid centre also provides vital emergency support throughout the Madrid region for families in grave risk of breaking apart.

We have also donated 2,000 euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency. We have donated to their Christmas Campaign to help women and children displaced by, and in danger from, the Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria.

2016

December 2016: We have donated 6,750 Euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency. The donation has been sent specifically to the Democreatic Republic of Congo refugee crisis fund.

2015

November 2015: We have donated 7,000 Euros to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency. The donation has been sent specifically to the Mediterranean/Syrian refugee crisis fund.

2014

4,697 Euros to ACNUR: We donated the last two weeks of December’s sales to ACNUR, the Spanish division of UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency. A full analysis in this post

– 510 dollars to Care and Share, which sets up schools for orphans in India, amongst other projects
