I understand what Ben says, but Marina still talks too fast.
Watch on YouTube. Go to the settings, top right corner and look for Playback speed. Change to 0.75x. This slower speed should help you understand Marina.

Ben and Marina are a perfect team. With Marina’s native Spanish and Ben’s second language Spanish. Ben often repeats or summarizes Marina’s phrases more slowly which greatly helps me to follow the conversation. When I listen a second time I pick up much more and can follow Marina better. The conversations are interesting, fun and natural which makes it effortless, enjoyable and motivating to listen to.

Me encanta el frase “si quieres a reir a Dios cuéntale tus planes”. Pero no seguro como o cuando usarlo! Es igual del frase “best laid schemes of mice and men often go awry” en ingles?
Haciendo malabares?! It’s a bit of stretch from ‘juggling’ to ‘making do with what we had’ but I can see the connection. I’ve always been amused by the word ‘malabarista’ – why would a bad coffee maker be a juggler? It does make it easy to remember the word though!
