Gracias y chao

Comment from ben

Some of us are beyond “beginner” stage but not fluent enough to understand everything yet. The transcripts are helpful, but for those of us transitioning, a translation of the transcripts would be of great help. Sometimes, even with the context, the nuances are obscure.

Comment from ben

Hi Ed,

I’m afraid that we don’t have the resources (time mainly!) to add a translation for each transcript just yet, but I have to say I am a great believer in keeping everything in Spanish even when it is a struggle. The best thing to do is to post any doubts about the nuances of certain phrases here or in the forum and we will be more than happy to help.

Comment from Marina

Hola Sascha,

Comment from Sascha Mantscheff

Hola Marina,

estoy muy obligado y muy intrigado a vuestros descubrimientos.

Comment from Marisa

I don’t know what anyone is saying in this….

Comment from Vernon

For years el Gordo has been a mystery to me.
For more than 10 years we would receive a letter with numbers on it from a local doctor whose name we did not recognise, my wife and I. Then last year we made a connection. The sender was the office where we went to get our driving licences renewed!! I think it was the doctor’s wife who did the pseudo eye-tests who sent it. I assume that the doctor was sending his ‘customers’ a fraction of a decimo.
