I live in the US, in the state of Maryland. One question I have is this. I have paid for notes in Spanish at the intermediate level, audio as well as written. When you come out with your new version, will that mean an additional payment?

Hi, I listen to your notes in Spanish every night as I’m going to sleep and also if I wake in the night and can’t get back to sleep. My husband jokes that you are my best friends.
I have just retired from work as a pilot, and have travelled to Spain many times with my job.
My home is in the UK but we now spend a lot of time in Spain. It’s hard to learn new things and retain knowledge as you get older. I’m doing a weeks Spanish course in Denia right now!

Also listen to Spanish radio stations many of which are online.
My weak area is speaking as there are very limited opportunities at the moment to do this. ??

soy inglesa pero llevo casi 30 anos viviendo in Alemania (I wanted to write 30 years but I can’t find the tilde on my keyboard! Maybe 30 anos will make you laugh 🙂 Antes de venir a Alemania viví 2 anos (there you go again!!!) in Espana (you know what I mean!), primero en País Vasco cerca de San Sebastián und luego en un pueblo en las montanas (where’s the blasted tilde?!!) al norte de Barcelona. Después de haber llegado a Alemania, tuve que aprender alemán, lo que ocupó toda mi capacidad cerebral. Y ahora quiero mucho poder habler espanol de nuevo. But there’s no one here I can practise with, so I really appreciate your podcasts.

He hecho niveles Advanced Beginner, Intermediate y Gold 1 (todo al mismo tiempo) y ahora empiezo con Gold 2. Han mejorado mucho mi comprehension y hablar, pero la verdad es, cuando veo todos los audios restante (todavía tengo que hacer todos los 116 avanzados originales) me siento un poco agobiada! ¿Tienes alguna recomendación para ayudarme? Cuando terminaré el Gold 2, sera mejor escuchar los audios nuevos y actualizados, tal vez?

I filled out your questionaire and am interested in the coach series. I bought the whole enchilada and have finished the Inspired beginners, about to start on the intermediate. I use Coffee Break Spanish and have completed all their seasons and am using a master class currently. I also use Duolingo. I live in Missouri but one of my daughters lives in Chile. I visit at least once per year and really enjoy the language and just want to become fluent there and with spanish speakers in the US. I have been studying for about 6 years. I lack speaking and understanding abilities HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Loved that new phrase – no me renta – I’ll use it a lot! I totally agree ( but forgot to say so in the questionnaire) finding phrases you can use repeatedly is great for confidence building. The phrases you leave with the emails, for example, get put on pist it notes and pinned up in the kitchen for repeated use. Muchas gracias

I’m in a Tossa de Mar appartment for five weeks and want to start using Spanish. The dog and I are alone so I’m forced to communicate with local people. But I just don’t have confidence in my speaking ability. I agree with another comment that it gets harder as you get older – I’m 69.
I hope my son will come from Barcelona for a couple of days. His partner is Catalan so their 3 year old is growing up bilingual English/Catalan
