Tienes razón John. Tendrí­a que haber dicho “me gustaron” en plural, ya que hablo de “las playas”, también plural.

Supongo que lo que pasó es que empecé a contestar mientras todaví­a estaba pensando la respuesta a la pregunta de Ben, que era algo así­ como “¿Qué es lo que más te gustó de Australia?”, por tanto utilicé la misma forma de la pregunta, “me gustó” en vez de “me gustaron”.

No problem Marta,

I should have said me gustaron in plural, because I’m speaking about las playas, also plural.

I guess what happened is that I started to answer while I was still thinking about the answer to Ben’s question ¿Qué es lo que más te gustó de Australia?, and I answered using the singular form which is the one used in the question,me gustó instead of me gustaron.
