Welcome to the first Notes in Spanish Intermediate Podcast! In this first edition of the new Intermediate level, we introduce ourselves and talk about why Marina is a Gata, and Ben is getting more Spanish by the day. Remember the worksheet pack available to help you get a lot more out of these podcasts. Each worksheeet includes a full transcript, a list of really useful vocabulary and grammar, and helpful exercises.
We would love some feedback on this new level, either in the comments below or in the forum. The next episode will be out same time next week!
Saludos desde Madrid!
Ben y Marina

Great! I found the “Advanced” a bit too advanced for me but the “Intermediate” is just great! I look forward to many more.
Comment from Peter in California
This is just the right level for me! Thank you!

I know I can listen to the podcast from here but I’d like to subscribe to it through itunes so I get the updates automatically. It doesn’t look like its appeared there yet. Has it been added? And if/when it is, I assume it will be called “Notes in Spanish Intermediate”? Looking forward to it.

I’m very pleased to have found your podcast and especially so at the outset of the new intermediate level. I’m not using anyother podcatcher so I’m also looking forward to finding the intermediate podcast on iTunes.
Comment from ben
Hi, thanks for all the comments. The intermediate podcast is now in iTunes, details are in a post at the top of Notesinspanish.com today, or click on the button on the subscribe page.

Or try dragging the orange button to the Podcast directory in iTunes
That worked for me (Mac G4 running OS X 10.2.8)
Comment from Outpostbabu
I have subscribed now through iTunes. This is great with both the advanced and intermediate podcasts, can we expect twice the podcasting output?
Comment from Ben
One of each a week, hopefully
Comment from Barbara in Germany
Hi, both of your Notes in Spanish podcasts are great and help me a lot!
Comment from Jonathan
I don’t feel so out of my depth with the intermediate podcasts compared to the advanced. Thanks for this great resource. Keep them coming.
Comment from Eline from Norway
Hola! This was realy nice. I can hardly wait for the next program.
My level is to low to get all of the dialog, but because you speak clear and clearify, it`s just fine.
Keep them coming
Comment from Nick in ‘sunny’ Bradford U.K.
Have I missed something, or is there any chance of a full translation of the transcript (intermediate), just to compare & check my understanding of the converstion?
Comment from ben
Sorry, there is no full translation, just the worksheet with a full transcript. Going through the transcript with a dictionary for the tricky words should help you learn much more though!
Comment from Jessi in the US
Fantastic! I love it. The speed of speech is perfect.
Comment from Ricardo

Ben & Marina:
Just learned about your site; I think it’s one of the best out there. However, I think more folks would use (buy) your Worksheets if you posted a sample worksheet, so they could get some idea of what sort of learning aid they would be buying. What do you think?
Fred
Comment from Ben
Hi Fred, I think it is a good idea, I’ll sort it out ASAP.
Comment from Thomas
Just start with the first Podcast. It’s great! Thank you very much!
Comment from becky
Comment from anna
Comment from MRussell
Comment from Vernon
I still do not understand ‘aportarse’…..when you say “me aportó una mujer”
Yes, I do, I just got it. Marina says What did you contribute and you say (as above)
Thanks

Los Deberes . . .

Nice job, guys. I, too, am enjoying your conversations. I feel like I have two new friends in Spain.
I was a bit surprised by the quantum jump from beginners to intermediate and a bit dissapointed by the lack of translation at the intermediate level.
Congratulations and best of luck we future efforts!
Comment from Ben
@John – Real Spanish Control is designed to help with the leap to intermediate, if you are interested. Also, we don’t offer translations at the Intermediate and Advanced levels for a very deliberate reason: we truly believe that Spanish learners will learn more and commit more of the language to the long-term memory, by working with the Spanish alone, and having to look up the occasional word that isn’t defined on the worksheets and is proving tricky. I hope this makes sense. I learned my Spanish here in Spain in a very ‘Spanish only’ environment, and I really think it’s the best approach!

Gracias. Hasta la semana que viene.
