Ay! Drawing on the right hand side of the brain! I love that book! Ben, that’s fantastic, have you finished it and done all the exercises? I made it about 3/4 of the way through and stopped several months ago because I just simply didn’t have the time, I really wish I had kept going 🙁

How long have you been drawing? Please post some of your work on the blog!! Come on now, don’t be shy 😛

There’s another book that I was going to move on to after I finished that one called The Natural Way to Draw that’s supposed to be excellent and intended for people who already have the basics down but want to really get to an advanced level, it’s essentially the equivalent of several years of art school and, according to the reviews, will actually take you a year or two to finish if you do all the exercises and draw for at least an hour a day. Quite a bit of work, but if you’re really seriously I highly recommend it.

I really hope this helps you and I look forward to seeing some of your drawings posted soon!
