    I love you guys’ stuff, I started using it like 3 or 4 years ago when I was first getting into learning Spanish, I still like to stop by and listen to a podcast every now and then, you’ve managed to stay interesting all this time, not an easy feat when you have to produce as much material as you do.

    Excellent choice of a subject for today’s podcast, by the way. If you delve into it a bit you’ll find that a large part of our problem is that because meat has gotten so much cheaper than it ever has been, people are just habitually eating far more of it than they have to. People used to only eat meat once or twice a week, and I believe the recommended frequency is generally though to be right around 3 servings per week for the average person (this presumes you’re not lifting weights or playing a sport or otherwise exerting yourself in such a way that you’d need more protein than normal).

    It’s even worse in the U.S. because the government so heavily subsidizes meat here to make it cheap for people, hence the $0.99 McDonald’s cheeseburgers that contain a quarter pound (0.11 kg) of hamburger meat (very, very cheap hamburger meat, of course) hence our obesity problem that we seem to have exported to the rest of the world along with our cheeseburgers. Sorry about that :/

    La población del mundo alcanzó siete mil millones de habitantes en la tierra un poco antes el primero de abril de este año ( Ahora se produce (no se podría producir, se produce) bastante comida para alimentar a todos. Los precios de los alimentos también se pusieron a aumentar por la culpa de especuladores. Producir bastante arregla parte del problema, la otra parte se podría arreglar en asegurarse que la gente tenga bastante dinero para comprarse bastantes alimentos. En otras palabras, pobreza y el precio de los alimentos son también partes del problema.
