Answers:

Which of our levels should you start with? When should you move up?

Start with the Intermediate Podcasts (try episode 42). If you find that these challenge your listening skills, that a few words slip by, but in general you get the gist of our conversation, then this is probably the level for you.

If you find the Intermediate podcasts too easy, head straight for Advanced (try episode 91). If they seem too difficult, then obviously it is best to start with the Beginners podcasts (try episode 3), then every now and again come back and try the Intermediate until you find you can understand a lot of what is being said and feel ready to make the jump.

The same goes for the move from Intermediate to Advanced. If you feel the Intermediate podcasts have become too easy, then try a few Advanced episodes. If they are still too tough then wait a while longer before making the jump.

Why use the worksheets?

Using the worksheets that accompany our Spanish audio guarantees you learn as much as possible from us.

Firstly, the worksheets let you follow along with a full transcript of our Spanish conversations (the Inspired Beginners level has an English translation too). This helps to identify those tricky words that fly by while you listen. The worksheets also contain key Spanish vocabulary explanations (the real, useful, and cool stuff we love!), and grammar pointers. This adds a lot of value to your Spanish materials collection. You can check out free sample worksheets here.

How do people study with the worksheets?

People use the worksheets in many different ways. Some will listen to the audio alone first and only look at the included transcript on the second run through, to make sure they get every word. Others use the transcripts straight away, or simply get the worksheets for the great vocab lists.

You will have to see which method best suits the way you like to challenge yourself as you are learning Spanish. You can check out free sample worksheets here.

Who are the Inspired Beginners podcasts best for?

There are two answers to this question:

1. The Inspired Beginners podcasts are ideal for new Spanish learners who have a very basic grounding in Spanish but feel inspired and ready to progress quickly with key Spanish vocabulary and grammar.

2. A lot of higher level students also love these shows, as they offer a great way of reviewing key grammar points: Ser and Estar anyone?
