Para todos: por favor no he dicho en ningún momento que no me guste la versión de Mercedes Sosa. Me parece muy buena cantante y tengo discos suyos… Solo que me parece que la voz de Violeta Parra tiene mas sentimiento. Pero es mi opinión personal.
Para Fiona: Violeta Parra compuso Gracias a la Vida, fue una de las últimas canciones que escribió antes de suicidarse. Se dice que cuando la escribió ya tenia en mente el suicidio y la escribió como una manera de dar gracias antes de morir. Estaba enamorada del flautista Gilbert Favre que la había abandonado poco antes.
Pero de nuevo, esto es lo que siempre se ha comentado, aunque seguramente habrá opiniones diferentes. En fin, simplemente pensé que sería interesante añadir un poco de información a este tema tan bonito y que tan buenos recuerdos me trae.
