Ben y Marina,
Aunque suelo escuchar los podcasts avanzados, he aprendido mucho de los de “inspired beginners” también porque dais muchos ejemplos y explicaciones. Actualmente unas de mis palabras favoritas es “bricolaje”. Me encanta como suena.

Comment from Marina

Muchas gracias Linda,

Es curioso pero muchos oyentes de nivel intermedio o avanzado escuchan “Inspired beginners” para repasar o aprender cosas nuevas.

¡¡Me alegro de que te sean útiles!!

Comment from Patty

yo acuerdo con Linda – al principio no pude entender los podcasts y ahora si puedo enterder la mayoria de los en intermidiate. Tambien me gusta repasar la gramatica en los podcasts “inspired beginners.”

Comment from leslie

As a kid in California (40+ yrs. ago) my Hispanic (then called Chicano) friends taught me that ‘nada de nada’ meant in slang that when one is out of money, saying ‘nada de nada’ means you have a whole lot of nothing if someone asks to borrow $$. My kids taking High School Spanish tell me I am wrong, wrong, wrong and give me the text book meanings of the words claiming that this phrase does not make sense slang or otherwise. Are they correct or can I claim validation of my memories? Muchas Gracias from seriously stupid mother.

Comment from ben

Hi Leslie, In Spain people use the phrase a lot, to mean absolutely nothing – it’s a way of adding emphasis to just plain old ‘nada’, so you might hear ‘no tengo nada, nada de nada’.
