A phrase for the cleaner in each and every one and us!
Como los chorros del oro (literal translation: like flows of Gold)
Real meaning: Se utiliza para indicar que algo está muy limpio, sobretodo cuando se hace una limpieza a fondo. ¡Ojo! no se utiliza con personas, sólo con cosas, por ejemplo: con la casa, con el coche etc.
Ejemplo:
Este fin de semana vienen unos amigos de Inglaterra a dormir a casa, así que Ben se ha pasado toda la tarde limpiando y ha dejado la casa como los chorros del oro.

hi thank you for your podcasts. i live in spain since my retirement but as luck would have it i had a stroke which as left me housbound.
by downloading your talks it helps me to keep on learning spanish as i can no longer meet with the locals in denia.
