Spanish audio resources round-up
After posting a couple of weeks ago about Mexican and Argentinian podcasts, there was a lot of discussion in the forum and the comments here, highlighting some of your favourite Spanish audio resources. I thought it would be useful to list them all in one place:
- RTVE – Spanish national radio and TV available over the net
- Cadena Ser – Podcasts from one of Spain’s finest radio stations
- Radio Bilingue – Listen live to radio from Mexico
- Europocket TV – Very fast news videos!
- Hispanocast – A Spanish podcast directory
- Directorio de podcasts en español – Spanish podcasts directory (no longer updated)
- BBC Estudio 834 – Weekly interviews in Spanish from the BBC – lots of different accents!
- Hablemos de Cine – Mexican podcast on cinema
- Desde el Baño – Podcasts from Argentina
- Rock and Roll – Mexican Rock and Roll Podcast
- Program about native folk healers (curanderos) in Mexico
- Frecuencia Cero – On-line radio from Mexico
- Destinos – A long (52 half hour episodes!) telenovela designed to teach spanish
- Ayohui Radio – Podcasts from the state of Querétaro in Mexico

Here are a couple more that may be worth including:
– From Mexico, a sort of on-line radio station with a variety of programming http://www.frecuenciacero.com.mx/principal/index.php
- This one isn’t really a podcast. It’s video and is basically a long (52 half hour episodes!) telenovela designed to teach spanish. The plot is interesting enough and the main character travels from Mexico to Spain to Argentina etc. which lets you hear a varity of accents etc. http://www.learner.org/resources/series75.html
